As a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform, Zoey is constantly making additions and improvements to make it a better solution for our customers. But while major releases may get a lot of attention, such as our update to the Avalara app to support quotes tax calculation, but smaller yet helpful updates and additions roll out regularly.
In today's post we'll look at some of those, rolled our during the month of April 2019, that are now available to our merchants to leverage on their stores.
Zoey Version 3 Launches: Our new version of Zoey launches, and kicks off with a redesign of our administration navigation!
As Zoey grows, so does the amount of available options, and in certain cases the navigation's layout was showing its age. With the latest updates we've been able to clean things up and make things more intuitive. To learn more about specific changes, and where we've moved a few settings, check out our release notes.
Setting to Hide Pricing Until Product is Configures: A new setting has been added to Products >Settings under the Configurable Products & Variations section: "Display Base Price of Configurable Product Price Type Custom" allows you to decide if you show the base pricing before a configuration, or wait until the choices are made to show a price. This may help reduce confusion for customers when dealing with products with some dynamic pricing layers based on the choices made.
Image Rotation Support: You can now rotate images directly within Zoey to make it easier to ensure images appear as preferred.
More Customer Groups Options: You can now limit currency and language options to specific customer groups, great for reducing clutter when supporting a multitude of options.
Specify Carrier Tracking URLs: You can now manage the information of which carriers and tracking URLs for your website by updating them in the administration area under Orders > Settings.
Icon Options for Header: You can now select from a set of icons for carts, account and quotes to make it more consistent with your branding.
