Content marketing is a popular way to get the word out and educate potential customers about a business, and B2B eCommerce is no exception. But sometimes your content is also used not only to get merchants to the door, but also to help you sell. And in other cases blog content integrated into search can perform much better. So we’ve heard the calls from some of our merchants to have blog posts integrated into your eCommerce search bar.
Zoey Search now has available the option to include your blog’s content into search results, effectively creating a universal search option for your store. To use your blog content in search, you must be using the existing blog capability in Zoey and not an external blog.
The feature is available for all customers, with merchants on the Power plan ($599/month) and above getting the feature at no additional charge. All other merchants can add the feature for $20/month and can be done within the new blog search settings area, located at Blog > Settings > Search.
Once activated, the search tool will display search results for products by default, but will display an other content tab that offers the blog search results.
