November saw us implementing a variety of enhancements to existing features, smoothing out areas that customers shared could use some improvement heading into a busy season for many. We already shared with you earlier in November some of our updates for category management, as well as the expansion of the ability to use status flags. But that was just a couple of the additions made this month; a number of other highlighted improvements can be found below.
Filter Orders by Address Data, Tracking Code: Now you can use address information in your search for orders. You can also input a shipping tracking code to locate an order.
Quantity Limits by Customer Group: You can now establish mininum and maximum quantities for an item in the shopping cart, with different levels set for each customer group. Learn how to use this feature.
Convert a CMS page to a Homepage: One often-requested feature is the ability to build a page while the existing homepage is live, and then be able to activate that page as the new homepage. In November, that capability was launched with in the Visual Design Editor. Get the details.
Display Quantity Available by Customer Group: You can choose with customer groups can see the quantities on hand, and determine where it is displayed within the product information. Learn more about this feature.
Tab Editing Available on More Screens: Based on customer feedback praising the ability to edit the Order screen tabs, the capability has been expanded to the Customers and Products screens.
Mark Order Unviewed: We previously launched a feature to show when an order has been viewed or not. You can now within the Order screen mark an order as Unviewed to have it appear as such in the order grid.
